RE: Cabelas Archery/New Gear
I really do think it was a misprint guys. The speed has to come from somewhere and I do not see any specs that have changed. Wouldn't it be great though if it was?
...and how about that Victory?....330 with a 7 inch+ brace height.
One can always dream.

The Muzzy Max 4's are $10.00 more expensive than the regular 100 grains (per 6) - nothing like charging more for the latest & greatest- it's the same amount of material.
Dave,
It's like spending 80 dollars for a pair of nike's for your toddler when a size 13 mens costs the same at 3 times of materials,it's cause ppl will pay that for them if they want it.

I also see that they carry the new magnesium peeps from G5. Nobody seems to have stock I will have to check them out. 2.5 grs for a 1/4" hunting peep, that's 1/4 the weight of a Fletcher.

Good luck with that Terry. I see a few items in the catalog that I know they cannot have in stock yet because of how new they are. I would call ahead to see if they actually have them in stock before you get your heart set on it.

I was also looking at the new G5 nocks and peeps made of Magnesium. All I can say is.........HUH????? Why the heck would I do that?? First of all, I REFUSE to pay that much for a nock. Besides, have ya'll ever seen a magnesium fire? The blistering speed of my UltraTec would cause a spontaneous combustion......we can't have that now, can we? [&:][8D][&o]

I checked huntersfriend.com today and it listed much lower- more believable- speeds for the Diamonds.
Maybe they got the specs for the 2007 models and accidentally listed them
There are gonna be some let down new bow owners (if they are in fact misprints) and the new owner gets his new speed bow anywhere near a chronograph.
Barebackjack, you are correct- I understand the mark-up, just don't agree with it. They are selling good though from what I've been reading.
