The WM here in STL don't carry a lot of hunting stuff the WM out of town carry. Case in point, the WM in St. Charles do not have hard bow cases, the Walmart in Washington (about 47 miles SW of town) had about 25 hard bowcases at the beginning of the season. I typically buy a few things when they go on sale, so its time to go to wallyworld. Thanks. I use those camo-burlap for ground blinds, normal price is like $15, but that drops to $11 or less this time of year, thats like buy 3 get one free. Sounds squeeky, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Alot of the big chain stores like to unload the stuff after the season to save shelf space. They also mark down stuff at this time of year because new models of things are being released. Every year about this time of year here i check out to see what kind of deals i can get. Also each store is different and 1 Walmart may not discount a item like another.
Yesterday my wife picked me up a Dremmel Tool set with case, bits, ect. Sells for 60 dollars and was marked down to 25. The other Walmart we have near here didnt have them marked down at all.
We had a Meijrs store built near us this year. If you have one near you check them out also. They are a big chain based out of Michigan and have a large hunting section and currently are unloading a lot of it. I picked up 2 boxes of Thunderhead Broadheads for 12 dollars a box. Also got a new Rivers Edge treestand for 38 bucks. All the clothing (including Scent Lok, and Suppresent) was 40 percent off as was all their Archery accesories.

the Wal-mart here has the APi stand you are talking about for $69.95.
I already have several stands but if it gets to $50.00 I will buy one just in case I decide I need an extra.
