A guy said he'd sell it to me today for that - deal or no deal? All I know is its a Mossberg 835 12 gauge, 3 1/2 capable, camo, bought last year and he didn't really use it and he said $140

Just looked it ......... its not like new and it wasn't bought last year - its been roughed up a bit, inside of barrel looks good though, its an ulti-mag and he changed the price to $180
I got his number, might call back and offer $150 - it looks like this one but has scratches and a rust sport or two on the barrel. Action feels tight though, mechanically it feels fine, just not taken care of cosmetically.

Funny how the story and the price change when you see it in person.
Too bad he wasn't completely honest with you. That would be a deal breaker for me.
Good luck with it if you buy it. 835's are great turkey guns.

No deal for me as I won't own a Mossberg!
Do know lots of people love them - but that gun kicks and kicks bad due to poor and lightweight stock.
So be warned!
