lpv77, I don't think that rumor is correct at all. I have the chance to engage this particular gentleman in converstation quite frequently, and I know he would never stand for that kind of treatment to any deer he knew about. More correctly, it goes back to the gene pool and management of these deer; once a "strain" of non-typicals start appearing, they manage for that particular character trait, and vice-versa for the typicals. This gentleman has showed me several generations of deer and how they follow their heritage and lineage, as well as the results of introducing new lineages into a bloodline. It's all pretty amazing.

Hmmm... don't know what could be going on there, whitecloud -- I've never had anyone not be able to see a pic I've posted since I've went to using photobucket.com... Are you on a dial-up or something?
