Hey Rob,

She sure is pretty, congrats and enjoy her. I loved my Allegiance, she was a sweet shooting machine. That bow amazed me, I don't know how BowTech could tame that much power in that thing. Try shooting a camo-carbon arrow into a 3-D target at 20 yards with that thing, you won't be able to shoot again by the time you get your arrow out

I can't wait to see the new sight, let us know when you get it as the Viper line-up is really appealing to me and it might be enough to make me break down and get rid of this Cobra Sidewinder LX I have on my OG.

Hey I haven't been online much. My wife and I, just had a Beautiful Baby Girl on Friday.

I'm glad to see you did go ahead and get the Bowtech to go with the Trykon.
I can't wait to see the big decision of which one you carry on opening day 2006!! That'll show me alot!

300ultramagshooter, thanks, I don't consider this bow, "switching" from Hoyt, if you missed my research on the big 3, here's a link. http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1421735 I really loved the Trykon as well and if I have my way, I'll own both. I still have a Hoyt Vortec from '01 and still am impressed with it. I've shot Hoyt for more than 10 years myself. You really can't go wrong with any of todays bows.

Oneshot7, thanks pal.

Buck Magnet, I know, I was shooting in the back yard and at 79ftlbs of KE..the arrows were buried in the target....it's a workout pulling them out and I'm anxious for the site but I just ordered a clearifier lens for my SuperPeep since it's been a few years since I've shot my Boss Scope on my Tox sight I couldn't find my peep lens...

Badatta2d, I hope you didn't understand, I don't own the Trkon yet, YET..I put it back when I decided on the Allegiance...now that it's all but setup, I'll put my Vortec up for sale and go back for the Trykon.....AND, Congratulations on the newborn.....you'll have to change your username to Gr8atta2d...she'll steal your heart and soften it as well.

M V. (a o), thanks guy.

Beatiful bow Rob! I went back to the shop again yesterday to admire the Trykon some more. I think I am going to go back tomorrow and shoot the Allegiance. I haven't even given any other bow a chance. I do know which ones have a smoother draw cycle but as far as shooting, I have only shot the Trykon.

Again, beautiful bow. What camo pattern is that?

What kind of longbow is that propped up against the fireplace?

Awesome looking set up Rob! Keep us posted as you start to tinker with her. I have been so busy with my business (blessing and curse) I have not been able to go pick up my Tribute. Seeing your pics, along with those of others, is going to make me write a pick up date on my calander ASAP.

ducsauce, Yes, you have to shoot several of the bows and especially the Allegiance if nothing else to rule it out over the Trykon. I had a real hard time deciding between these two bows and the Switchback for that matter. No matter which one you decide on, you'll have made the right decision for you but you need to shoot some to make that decision. I can't wait to hear how you make out, it's tough, good luck.

Double Creek, man you have a good eye. That is a very old 61" Bear in only 31#'s...it was given to me by my exfather inlaw for decor. He use to use it as a teenager and took one deer with it. I have another longbow and a fiber recurve on the otherside of the fireplace but what I really like is a set of wooden arrows given to me by my exbrother inlaw whom found them in an oldtimers garage in VA. Here's a couple pics.

rdy2hnt, set that date and pick her up and get her outside to shoot. It's going to warm up so you better get it set up and remember "the post is no good without pics"...good luck.

Thanks Rob....... I'll trade you a cheap, crappy longbow for that vintage collector's item bow.... How's that sound? [8D]

Rob, I can't wait either to find out the outcome. It will be a few weeks b/c I am waiting on the arrival of my tax refund.

I think you overlooked my question. What camo pattern is your allegiance and which others does Bowtech offer? I really like your bow's pattern. I could not find their camo patterns on their website.

Thank you, Duc
