I don't know if it high fence or not but I have thought it was because he has bison on his farm and I have watched shows where he has talked about thining the heard because it has grow to big. If they were wild I don't think that would happen with as many as he kills on his show and they are all on his farm. Could be wrong so don't club me after you read this.

I've watched many of Ted's videos and I don't recall seeing any of them looking like they were drugged or certainly not chained to a tree.
It's easy to sit here behind a computer and criticize people but what exactly have YOU done to protect our hunting rights? Have you lobbied Congress? Have you stood in front of an audience of kids in schools to promote hunting and a drug free, alcohol free lifestyle? Like the guy or not he os the most vocal person out there fighting to keep our rights to hunt and own guns. Until you can say that you do or have done what he does for us you have no reason to criticize him. In fact you should be shaking his hand and thanking him.

I shot a deer once and when me and my dad were gutting it we were talking just as loud as if we were at home. We looked up and they were 2 doe 25 yards in front of us watching us. We each had a doe tag and he had his gun next to him. Mine was about 10 yards up against a tree. Those deer stood there as I belly crawled to get my gun. We were whispering to each otheron which one I would take and he would take. Those deer just looked at us the whole time. BTW this was state land. Best day we ever had. 3 deer on opening day.

Ted is always going to get flack one way or the other. Personally I dont watch his hunting shows. kida corny. BUT!!!! I stand by him. He has done alot for us hunters. He has alot of saying power to ups in the congress. For that I commend him. To bad all the other big time hunting pro's wont step up to the plate and do the same. Has done alot for us Michiganders.

ok i get that some times deer dont run like that guy said when he was gutting the deer. But come on your telling me the deers walked all the way from the woods to his Record rack deer feed and then ran around under his tree stand like 5 year old kids not caring about him moving or talking loudly(and they werent fawns) it just seems weird. And baiting is unfair right there, its like a guranteed kill if a buck eats there everyday.

I'll tell you a few things I HAVEN'T DONE.
I haven't stipped half naked and shot a flaming arrow inside a crowded rock shot. (Nor been arrested for it.)
I haven't paid anybody to catch animals and fence them in so I could pretend to "heap big TV Bwana".
I don't need to pay somebody to bait for a few days and then lead me out to the bait pile in side the fence before the camera man gets there.
In fact I'mpretty plain, just run of the mill dad and hunter who taught his own and a few other kids to follow the law and avoid shooting thier hunting partners in the face. Pretty boring stuff I reckon after you've been the "Motor City Madman".

You haven't seen Ted Nugent do any of this, either. Have you?

One thing I've noticed here in Texas, you can talk as loud as you want and it wont alarm the deer - they are used to the sounds due to all of the natural gas, oil, cattle ranchers, etc etc.
However, if you move towords them, or make them feel threatened, and they are out of there faster than any deer i've ever seen.
