i believe it has to get to 270+ degrees to effect the magnet....i will find out..i dont think that dropping the magnets will effect the polarity but if dropped hard enough could crack or break the magnet

That's a good point. I also read on their site that high temps can cause the magnets to lose power.Is thisan issue? I know we really don't get our bows close to a fire or anything but I imagine a black bow case could get pretty hot in the sun.
