Default A successful day afield

This post is a little different, but I was hunting. What I was hunting for was the arrow that I used to take a spike on Wednesday that deer made 4 that I had taken with that arrow alone and it was kind of like a lucky charm. The day I shot the spike I looked and looked but couldnt find it and Saturday was the first time I could get back to look . Well after a 30 minute walk to get there I found it after only 10 mins looking it was a little closer than I thought and that is why I couldnt find it before, all it needs is cleaned and new blades or those sharpened and it is ready for #5 .this may sound silly to some of you but I was tickled as could be to find it.

Take a child hunting, for they are not only our future but also the future of hunting. Roy .

Royak- I thought you or your grandson had another deer. Glad to hear you found your "Lucky" arrow. What are you shooting: fixed or mechanical ? If you mentioned it I don't remember!!!

Royak- I have never tried the 100 gr. shockwave....I also started with mechanicals 3 years ago(100 gr. Spitfire-3 blade)....it was a toss up at the time from everything I read about them. My last 2 years I have harvested 2 with these with complete pass thru and deer that expired in 25 yds. or less. With New archery Products producing both of these broadheads I would not hesitate to use either one !!!

I had an arrow like that. Finally lodged in deers opposite shoulder and broke. I never did find the front half. I searched the trail for a good while. I need a metal detector.

Some things are true whether you believe them or not.
