I thought i spooked him for good when he snorted me....came in downwind. He's got a bunch of scrapes in a 10 yard circle. Gonna try and hang some buck urine and cut him off. I saw where he crossed to where i was sitting. I may have to use the wind to draw him in during daylight. Will just have to setup cross wind of the trail i am hoping he will come out on again. I think he's scraping more because i trailed in some doe in estrous the other time i sat there. My climber is a bit noisy so i don't know what to do to setup without him knowing I'm there.

It may not be the same buck, it may be several bucks. You're right about leavng scent, they may be scraping more in the area because of it. But, it is time for peak scraping!!!
Make the stand quiet, set it up during mid-day hours when he should not be there, and don't move until you're ready to drop him. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the input. I have a feeling he's bedding close by. Hopefully he's far enough away that i can get up in a tree because i want to setup about a hundred yards away from the scrapes where he is crossing a dirt road. He may only be another couple hundred yards in from where i'll be setting up. This buck is a decent size and he walked right across the road in broad daylight. I think he's a 10 point or something. A guy i know saw him and says it's a big rack.
