Default What scent do you swear by?

I have used "sexual attractants" for a couple of seasons now, and have yet to see anything from it. I used to use Tink's #69. So far this year I have been using "The Rut Stuff" From Dick's . Today I bought a bottle of Trail's End #307. figure I will try that this weekend. Anybody have a particular scent you like to use more than others?

cover scents are important but they will cover just so much. like trying to cover your BO with perfume. be sure to take measures (plenty listed on other posts) to keep your scent down.

As for the scents I am getting ready to use this new blue stuff with a number signed by the deer. On DH.com bb they talk about estrous scents too.

Black walnuts. I stop to pick up the first black walnuts I see with every hunt to sniff and rub on my clothes. Their pungent scent invigorates the soul and works wonders to mask human odor.

DPV, I personally am having a little luck with the Buck Fever line of scents from Hawgs Unlimited.

If you do a search for 'scents', using a 30 day search period, you're likely get 30-50 hits and a lot of good advice and tips in there. Use this board first and Deerhunting second. Good Luck.

In the early season I like to use a fresh earth scent with acorn scent, which I've heard smells like deer have just began to hunt for acorns. During the Rut I like to use Bob Kirschners Silvertop, my hunting buddies and I have had great results with it.
