I swear by HS fresh earth cover scent. the dryer sheets, the spray scent, and all.
as far as sex scents, I've used tinks 69, but I dang sure can't say i swear by it. I've yet to have a buck respond to it. but, its
still fun tryin.

Over the years, I have seen more deer spooked by scents than attracted.
Today, I only apply a few drops to the soles of my boots before going to my stand, and a few drops on the ground, sometime, in spots I want a deer to briefly stop out of curioisty.
I do not expect the drops on my soles to disguise any of my scent, should there be some.. I have had deer drop their head and sniff the trail I left as they keep moving on their route. It is the momentary distraction I want. As for the drops on the ground near my stand, it is also for a brief stop and distraction, hopefully.
I have also witnessed deer explode from a scent, and leave on a fast train to Georgia.
I have had better success with just being clean and as odor free as possible, and using a stand/blind that plays the wind in my favor.

I don't use attractent scents as I feel that unless it's absolutley fresh(urine or what not) it's just gonna smell like old pee. anyhow as for scent elimination I use Headhunter's Ghost(shampoo/body soap -n- spray on the clothes) to help remove my smell and also use their Humus as a cover scent(this stuff smells just like the forrest floor). As to how well it works....I hunt from the ground 98% of the time and so far this year have had deer withen 8 yrds of me with no clue I was there.Granted ya gotta play the wind and not walk like the 1st division or the army was on parade.

I have used tinks69 and doe in estrous by WILDLIFE RESEARCH
with pretty good success. What i have learned over the years
is to use it very sparingly. A deer can smell the scent on a
q-tip at a hundred yards and will be more
willing to come in and investigate it if the smell isnt
too strong. I dont know why this is but it seems
to work for me.
There was another brand i used a couple of years ago
that seemed to attract every buck that came downwind of
it and even Does came in to it. I used the one bottle
all season and was planning on getting somemore the
following season but forgot what the name was.
I do remember the bottle was black with red lettering.
