my b-day is coming up and if i dont get a bow im going to buy one what is the best starter bow for deer hunting

look at the alpine micro stalker. i shoot 1 of these bows and love it. 40-50 pounds. it is a personal prefrence.

how much are you gonna spend parker has a nice buckshot bow and it comes in a package with everything you need to go hunting its about 315.00 where im at with tax and all but try them all and see what you like and what fits you best good luck let us know how you do

look through Cabelas, they have alot of nice bows from kids to compition. PSE is what i would choose they are farely cheap and come in a variety of styles/draws etc.

Go to a reputable pro shop and let them help you find a bow that will fit you. I would think you would want a bow that will allow some draw length and draw weight adjustability as you grow over the next few years.
