I put them there.
It's a hole that I throw the ramaines in.
Then I started seeing the parts come out of the hole so I put the camera on it.
First couple days I got pics of fox's and a halk so I put the cam back at the bait pile.
Then the whole rib cage disappered and I knew it wasent a fox so the cam went back and this is what I got.
Another thing to add is ,"In the past month Igot more pics of deer running from something then I have in 6 years of useing the cams" I just couldent figure out what was spooking them so bad.Now I know

I have a pic around here (35mm) of a black coyote, taken 3-4 years ago,if I find it I'll try scanning it

I believe it to be a coyote, eastern coyote's get plenty big and that animal while big is not as large as a wolf would likely be.If you look at it's snout it's nose is short like a coyote,a wolfs snout is longer. While I have not seen a black coyote I have friends that have killed completely black one's.I killed one that was completely blond this year.
I am open to being wrong. It just looks like a coyote to me.I have seen and takenseveral of them in New York state.

Looks like a yote to me also. They are that size around here. Trap him.

Wolves in South Jersey? It's gotta be a big coyote.

(BigDaddys wife here) Sure looks like a wolf to me......I've seen Northern MN wolves and he is too big for a coyote, too full-bodied.

First of all, I'd say that both pictures are of the same animal.
I am comparing the white tail head to the "dog" in the first pic. If the white tail measures 12" from snout to a line between the ears ( an estimate, but a barometer anyway), then the dog is a little over 2 feet tall at the shoulders. Wolves average anout 36" at the shoulders. Much larger.
Not a wolf, but some kind of dog/husky type mix. Also, and maybe more importantly, wolves do not eat carrion. They will if starving (hell, they'll eat their young!), but much prefer fresh kill for a meal.
I agree . . . trap it.

As much as I'd like to believe it's a wolf I also have a hard time believeing in a wolf in S Jersey.
But then again there was that Black bear last year

Yes, I believe it to be a black yote tho a very big one. The first pic makes it look very large almost too large but the second one puts it more into perspective....if it were tan it probably wouldn't look as large.
