I traded for a used Outback and the draw weight is supposed to be 70#. I've got it cranked all the way up and I'm only getting 62#. I measured the axle to axle and it's 31 3/4. Could that be the reason?
Thanks,

Definately would be part of the problem ! The ata needs to be 31 1/2" !!
It should get you closer to 70# ! If the bow has an aftermarket string set on it ..............it may not hit max poundage due to the string/cable diameters !
With a factory string/spec's on.....my OB hit 75# and shot 284 with a 450 grain arrow! With a WC string set ........shot in and set to 31 1/2" mine hit 72# and shot 275 with a 450 grain arrow! WC new with the ata set at 31 3/8" it hit 76 #and shot 278 w/ a 450 grain arrow!! JFYI.......dead on spec'sare important for performance and shot noise of the bow!!
