Frank, just for the record, how much ke are you pushing those heads with?
And how would you compare the entrance and exit wounds of the naildriver to those of a fixed two blade? More of a slit or a hole? I can't really tell in the pics.

Rangeball,
71 ft lbs of KE....400 grain arrow traveling at 285 fps.
I would say that the entrance wound is somewhat larger for the naildriver when compared with a conventional two blade-cut on impact head simply because the "front surface area" is larger with the blades in a folded position. This coupled with the fact that the blades are forced open creates a slightly large hole in my opinion.
As for the exit wound...it was in a vertical slit shape though there was slightly more tissue torn out around the ferrule. I would say it is roughly equal to a traditional fixed blade head in this regard.

Bull,
The sidewinder might be more for your tastes. I believe it is the same overall style of head but with a 1.5 as opposed to 2 inch cutting diameter.
Lemond,
Substantial. There was the initial "splatter" and then a pretty decent trail for the first 20 yards. I didn't pay much attention after that since I had her in sight the rest of the time.
Justhunt,
Actually, I had 3 different style heads when I was hunting on this particular occasion. I had a Rocky Mountain Snyper in there as well. Yes, this is normal for me and, yes, they do all fly the same out of my bow in terms of point of impact. I tested each of them prior to the season.

Ditto on the variety of heads in the quiver. All tested, flying the same out to sixty yards. This year I have carried Three different Game Tracker heads, First Cut two Blade, First Cut Magnum Expandable, and First Cut Expandable. Also Ultimate Steel 100, Magnus 125 two blade, and a Montec 125.
I had good results with both types of Game Tracker expandables, and the Magnus 125. I've also taken a decent buck with the Ultimate Steel head but the blood trail was basically non existent. The hole that the 7/8 inch cut makes is really small.
And yes I do hunt in more than one State.
