The weather in Al. has been pretty chilly lately 25 to 35 degrees on average. The rut usually kicks off first part of Jan.The forcast for the next week is anywhere from 60 to 70 degrees. Do any of you think this will affect the deer going into rut?

Yes it will hurt the hunting a bit. I took off 3 weeks specifically timed to rut hunt this past November. It was much warmer than usual EVERY DAY that I was off and the daytime buck activity was much lower than usual. I only saw movement very early and very late--and even that wasn't very good. They'll still breed, but most of it will take place at night.
