Hi,
I've talked to three customer service reps and they all confuse it with a crossbow and say it is a weapon. Has any one shipped a bow to the U.S. before?, what did you put as a description?, Any suggestions?
Thanks

UPS wan't ship a gun in the US,so when I had to ship my Browning back to factory,I labeled it parts and they took it OK.
so take it apart and ship it as bow parts.should work,it did for me.
I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest
remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

Hey I used to be an Account Executive for FedEx. They now have a ground service. Suggest you try them and if a problem let me know. ALSO!!! Take the bow to a UPS, FEDEX, or DHL service center or station. Let them see it and then box it. Half the time the people on the customer service lines are morons for some 3rd party company operating a call center and not shipping company employees.
ALSO AND ASK THEM CAUSE THIS IS IMPORTANT!! "Is their refusal because of an internal (service guide) rule or is this a government, customs issue?
I still have a few contacts there so if these do not work shoot me an email. [email protected]
Hope this helps.
Hey, size may not matter but it sure IS nice!

When I was stationed in England, I recieved a bow and shipped one through the postal service. But I had an APO address. This was in 95 I think. I think I labeled it "compound bow" but can't remember. I think thundermug has the right answer with Chrsitmac Bow! Just insure it.
