holy! what is this judge judy! im not lying! it wasnt 2 weeks it was like 5-6 days and yes it was very cold and thats the truth! yes the animals got at it but luckily there was that left and about the score there wizards,,,,, the guy is an official scorer that shot it, the pic does it no justice its really thick and a 17 in inside spread! so believe or not those are the facts! it will be in the p&y book! and for this area in ny, thats a slammer! we dont have 190's running around because its the suburbs and theres no farms still working so no real good food!

I don't think you could bend it's neck like in that photo if it had been dead a few days...anything dead gets pretty damn stiff in a short time..and that one would have be like a board, wouldn't it?

Kinda what I was thinking. Must not have rig-a-mortis (sp) in NY or something? [:-]

Here is a pic of my buddies 8 (very symetrical by the way with lilke no deductions)

Didn't make P&Y.

Sorry to say, that deer doesn't have a shot at Pope.

Here is my 7, once again, bigger than your buddies (gross at least)but not Pope.

The scoring issue bothers me the LEAST...it's very understandable that whoever scored it could have made mistakes, and these guys just took their word for it...the story, and the pic are suspect though. Not calling ANYONE a liar, just saying it sounds "hinky" to me. [8D]

I agree with stoneman, the score doesnt bother me, it is hard to judge based on a picture. I worked in a deer processing plant for 6 years, and i have never seen a dead deer look that fresh, its just my judgement. And by the way where is that 8th point, or am i blind as well?

"and i have never seen a dead deer look that fresh" I had better correct myself in this forum, i meant "several days old"
