I appreciate all the responses. I think I'll give a few of the ideas a try. I don't have any cow patty's to step in on my way to my stands, but I'll definitely try the mud thing along with spraying them down a few more times. I'm sure baking soda on the inside couldn't hurt either. I just don't want to blow it the next time. But I guess that's huntin'

The cow manure works great if you can stand the smell. I will find every fresh cow patty on the way to my stand I can step in. It is a natural smell that deer are used to to smelling. Give it a try.
LOL---I do the same on one of my hunting properties.Cows are running all over the place so its only natural to smell like one to.
Just one thing to remember----Take your boots off and put them in the box of your truck.I learned the hard way that cow poop dosnt come out of carpet to easily[:@]
Now I take my sneakers for the drive home[8D]

hehe just kidding, spray them down with Scent Killer fall foiliage spray, or, get a bunch of pine needles and put the bootsin a plastic bagfor a few days.
