It is hard when you develop such a relationship with an animal but do you think he was providing you an oppurtunity to take him?

Very nice story. I couldn't shoot him either. You would think about him with every bite, kind of like some farmers I know that take a bite of their dinner and say, "It is hard to eat Bessie."

Another example of how we as ethical hunters have total respect for the game we persue.

I know I couldnt do it. Now if he brings that buddy with him.....
