Neighbor "MY" Buck
Well, my father saw a 10-12 pointer leaving his property 2.5 weeks ago and due to my schedule and work I have not had the time to get out and hunt for him.
MY LOSS IS SOMEONE ELSES GAIN...
I got a call from my mother this morning informing me that their neighbor was hunting the fence row between the two farms yesterday and was about to call it a day because it was windy and , when he decided to wait another 15 mins. Well my luck has it that the buck I was going after this season, came out of the bedding area and crossed right infront of him and his son about 10 mins after that thought.
They called my father last night to get permission to track him as he crossed the field and entered my fathers woods after the shot. I have not heard anything since but from the description of the shot I would guess they should of found him. It was about 3 hours after the shot that they called for permission so he was probably found laying in "MY" woods.
I guess you have to get out and hunt to harvest the deer you want.

RE: Neighbor "MY" Buck
That's the beauty of fair chase. It's not "My Buck"... it's "A Buck". To be "My Buck" it's like a canned hunt. Congrats to your neighbor when you see him(if he finds the thing).[&:]
