Default cracked limb........Diamond service comes through

while at the hunting cabin this weekend my uncle and my brother were looking at my bow at the no peep peep sight on my Diamond Hornet bow my uncle pulled the bow back and my release was on the string, well it fell down on the cam and got stuck, they were unable to get it out so they took it to a local bow shop. the bow shop person inspected the bow before he put it in the vise and found that the bottom limb was cracked. I took the bow to the dealer last night and they contacted diamond first thing this morning. Diamond is sending a limb overnight so I can have the bow back in time for a 9 day hunting trip i leave for on wed. now lets hope that ups does its job. I check the bow frequently and have never noticed any cracks, however last week the bow did seem to sound a little different while shooting, but there were no cracks that i noticed, i'm just glad i wasn't shooting at a deer and find out the limb was cracked that way.

Get rid of that bow! You can't hit any thing with it anyway!. Next time you are vidoe taping film the hunter drawing on the deer and not the deer all the time. However, this last time I am glad you focused on the deer and not me because now there is documented proof that I actually missed my shot at that doe!!!!!!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>

we will get'em in Illinois in a few weeks!

Diamond is top notch. I sent my hornet back to them for a new string and cables and general once over, they had it back to me in 5 days! With a new hat, too. Excellent company and bows. Can't recommend them enough.

So can you hit anything with that bow? What's the inside scoop on that one?
I'm looking heavily into getting one of those and was wondering what your buddy meant by that one.

Man I love my Dimamond Hornet!! That is one sweet shooting little bow! I'm glad to hear that their service was so good. If Diamond would advertise more and push their bows people would really start buying them. I've had Mathews and Hoyt owners shoot my Diamond and everyone of them has liked it and been shocked at how good it shoots.
Good luck on your trip!

hey dave c, 10pointer has not hit anything this year! he says that he shot at a doe this past weekend but his cam hit the tree he was in!! Likely story! 10 pointer is getting a new bow next year if that tells you anything. He wants to get a hoyt. Keep in mind that it is a poor technician that blames his tools. LOL

There must be something in the water down there! All I have to say is that 10pointer hasn't killed anything yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get him close to deer all the time and he still can't close the deal. What's up with that? I might let him hold my mathews for good luck the next time we hunt, maybe. LOL!
