I take off work at this time every year to hunt the late pre-rut into the rut.
And every year, the temperature immediately climbs to "well above normal." It's happened so often, I wonder how this can be considered "above normal" when it's always this way when my leave starts. [:@] The temperature here today was 72 and it's supposed to be even warmer tomorrow. All week, it supposed to be like this with mid 70's by week's end! [:@]
I KNOW what will happen when the heat wave finally ends -- rain and high winds will replace it.
I KNOW it will . . . it always does.

Dave I signed up for leave last week for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week because we finally had the temperatures bottom out...well then the temps are supposed to go up to the high 60's tomorrow...I am hoping because it is early November that some bucks will be up and moving.
