    I saw9 fawns come out to feed in the cut corn last night with no adult does in sight. Thats when I know its time to start hunting all day.

    I agree, when the heard is broke up it is because the boy's are messing with the gals.

    I saw a fawn with a doe tonight, I still think around here in IL Pre Rut is going strong, but I don't expect rutting activity till sometime around the 6th of November or later.Weather has taken a turn for the worst 60's and 70's for the next 2 weeks.
