getting discouraged...bow hunting after gun season?
I have went bow hunting twice now and missed an awesome buck today. Im depressed. He was a BIG chested beautiful 8-pointer, biggest I have seen in a long time. I mis judged the distance and my arrow went right under him. Is bow hunting not good after rifle season?

Sorry about the miss.......To answer your question, I have killed some of my best bucks and many does after gun season.Here in Illinois that'smid Decemberto midJanuary. They even have a pistol only season here in mid January.
