I only have one spot to archery hunt. The only thing the land owners asked of me is to not hunt the week that there son in law comes to hunt. Last year he came and shot a big 13 pointer last year that i had been looking at all season. I just got word that he is coming in saturday and will be here for the entire week. once again i have seen a big 10 point this year. So lets cross our fingers that he doesnt get a shot at that big boy.

we have a similar situation in bucks county pa. son in law comes and hunts a typically gets one of the big deer on the property. There are always bigger deer there though. But last year he shot a buck with a 23 inch spread. He said not to hunt the lower fields on opening day but i slipped into a stand and shot a doe about 175 yards across the field from him. I don't know if he saw me at all and i don't care.......hahah....so i hope he doesn't get him! good luck
