PAIN IN THE A$$ RUBBER BOOTS!!!
I were the knee high type rubber boots for hunting around here because of all the swamps,I am getting sick of them because they are so hard to get on.I am a big guy and some rubber boots I cant even get on because the calf isnt big enough.I use grocery bags to get my feet in most of the time but if I walk more than a 1/4 mile my feet hurt because of all of the sliding that they do in the boot from the slickness of the bag.I was thinking of trying a silk sock or something to get my foot in easier.I just bought the boots so Idont want tobuy another pair, but I treid some of the side zip 800 grams thinsulateones at bass pro and they fit great.I would like to get one with a little more insulation for the cold winters here. Can someone tell me were I can get a side zip knee high boot with at least 1200 grams of thinsulate or an easier way to get the ones I have know on?

Try this link to Cabela's. They aren't zippered, but they do have the clasp to allow for larger calves or tucking in your pants. However, my guess is that you're having trouble getting your foot squeezed past the tight ankles that the new rubber boots have. I'm only average sized, with 9 1/2 M feet, and I have trouble with them as well, but not as much as you're having.
