Default older Mighty Mite vs. new

I've been out of the bow scene for while. I have a Mighty Mite that's about a 2000. The year before the sand trap.
I really don't feel like throwing down the cash on a new one. But is the new Mighty Mite light years ahead of a 2000? I think I'm afraid to demo the new model.

I'm not sure about this but I think the newer ones have a longer riser with more laid back limbs. I couldn't tell you if there is a "feel" difference because I never shot an older one. I bet the newer ones are faster as well.

I have a 2004 model and like it. The new ones are VFT bows.

I don't believe they make the sandtrap bows anymore either. They come with a factory hush kit which consists of Simm's simular products on the string and limbs. Mine liked limb savers better though. I use both actually.

That bow is almost 6 yrs old. It no longer has the ability to kill anything. Run out immediately and buy the newest most expensive bow with all the bells and whistles and you'll be good. Just go hunting
