Anyone have the schedule that I think Drury's published on the rut dates (specifically for PA)? How about Alsheimers? I thought there was a schedule published by both of them and I can't seem to find it here on on google. Any help is appreciated..........

I don't have the "schedule" but I'll go out on a limb and say November 7th - 11th would be a good choice for a week of vacation.

Rutting Moon is NOV 16th.

great! breeding is right before rifle season in pa (nov 28th). that sucks....

Altho hunting pressure, moon, temp and other factors have an influence, these predictions seem to become more and more accurate every year.

Just got my F&S in the mail last night and read an article talking about how wildlife researchers believe the "second" rut is driven mostly by doe fawns who they say come into estrus about four weeks later than adult does - and the big, experiencedbucks who come looking for them because they know the rut isn't really over yet. Article saysthe second rut has less to do with adult does who haven't been bred yet than earlier thought. If true, that would be good news for me because we've got lots of fawns.
