Too Early For This??
#1
I belong to a yahoo group for local fishing reports, questions, info, etc. Yesterday, someone posted this:
"Not a fishing report, but a strange story nonetheless.............
Fellow RISAA member Capt. Tony of the s/f/v Isabella reports that this morning, floating right near his boat at the Q.D.N.Y.C. in Allen Harbor, were two large bucks (male deer) , drowned, with their antlers still locked in mortal combat. What a struggle that must have been.................."Isn't it a bit early to see this kind of behavior? I would expect that any fighting this early would be more sparring to establish pecking order rather than an all out fight??
