FERRAL HOG HUNTING IN RICHARDSON TX
Anyone hear of the rule of non-residents and residents being able to hunt ferral hogs without a license. From what I read and heard from someone you can as long as you have permission to do so. Apparently these escape pigs are a real problem and Texas doesn't mind anyone trimming the herd as long as it's proven that they are doing damage and you have permission from the land owner to hunt them. I'm down in Texas from Canada and wouldn't mind watching or going onhunt while I'm here. I've still got a couple of weeks left to go here in Richardson, Texas and feel pretty bad being surronded by all this concrete.Just thought I would ask.

Probably ought to go ahead and invest $45 to get the special 5 day non-resident license, just to make sure there are no problems. That way you could hunt 'em even if there isn't a depredation problem.
