saw between 12-15 in the am here in the northern part of the state. all in the am. nothing but a bunny, a red fox, a squirrel and two groundhogs in the pm, WAY too hot. near eighty I believe.

yeah it really sucks.....its supposed to be 78 wednesday and 68 on thursday, but I think its going to be rather windy....sounds like a good day to hunt the pines

I traveled out to the Geo Washington Forest yesterday and even out there it was hot. I couldn't believe it. It is absolutely beautiful country out there and sure beats the crowds at the nearby WMA's.

Was cold opening morning for us but warmed into the lower 80's by dinner.Went out this Am and it was warm enough to wear short sleeves at 4:30 this morning.I am heading out now to sit the rest of the day out and there is a chance of rain moving in later this afternoon.That should get them moving.

I was only out until about 9:30 am. It was darn cold before the sun came up and turned out pretty nice by the time I left. When I came back out in the afternoon I was sweating on my way to the stand. I hate hot weather in bow season.
