Terminator Selects kick butt on Gold Tip Hunters for quality. They are straighter, more consistent in weight and spine, and more durable than Gold Tips Hunters. Only the Hunter XT's come close to matching the Selects for quality, and even they don't quite cut it.

The Terminators are quite a bit heavier so you'll lose a few fps of speed, but I agree with your dealer. You'll likely see better penetration with them.
Exactly my thoughts as well. Terminator selects are a much superior shaft than the Gold tips.

Just because they cost less does not mean they are of less quality. This is definetly one of he exceptions of the "you get what you pay for" way of thinking.

Artur p is once again correct . the Terminator is straighter and more consistant in weight. as for penitration it is a combination of speed and arrow weight that gives you kenetic energy which is PENITRATION . you can shoot 350 fps but shoot a broomstraw for an arrow and will get no penitration but shoot 250 fps and use a sawlog for an arrow and shoot clean through a chevy

This is the 3rd year that I've been shooting the terminator selects and I love 'em. Great penetration, great flight, great durability -- all at less cost. No question, choose the terminator selects.
