Ditto here, the woods I hunt is tons of acorn trees. We had little rainfall here the first 2\3 of summer. And not only are they abundant but so thick you can't hardly see the ground. They are not that much smaller than golf balls massive crop this year where I hunt.

We got tons of them here in Northern IN and Southern MI. Seems like every tree, whether it is in the red or white oak classification is loaded. Very different than last year or most years.

In my area of SE PA. we have a bunch of acorns, mostly Red Oak. Some White Oaks are dropping but not like the Red. White Oaksdo not drop everyyear either. I have two BIG White Oaks in my area and they have'nt dropped acorns in the last two years. This year I've seen some. Acorn drop is tree specific at times, you can have an area of Oaks but not all of the trees in that area are dropping!

I have tons here in WI. All the oaks around my house are white oaks, and they didn't have any last year, but it was their year off as it seems like the whites here go every other for big crops. There are a lot of reds on my dad's property and the other properties I hunt and it's like walking on marbles in the woods there's so dang many of them.
I'm sure tsoc is right that the deer will go into the winter very healthy here with the huge acorn drop, crop fields, and the popularity of food plots.....will make it much easier for the rutted out bucks.
