My husband called me at 7:09 this evening. All I could hear was, "Can you hear that??? Can you hear that???" He was whispering so softly I could barely hear him. After a few minutes I hear a bull bugle!!!! [
] Then he says, "I'm in on about 100 of them. It's too dark to shoot right now, but I've bedded them down and I'll know exactly where they are in the morning!" I turned absolutely green with envy!!! LOLOLOL This schooling thing had better pay off, I need some HUNT'N time!!! LOLOLOL

The BEST!!! When I'm with him he works twice as hard to get me a shot as he does for himself. He's quite the hubby!
He is an exceptional caller. He knows what to do and when to do it. I am proud to call him my husband and the father of my two children. He works just as hard providing for us as he does the time he gets to hunt. His motto is "Work hard, Play hard!" And he does it all quite well.

Wow ! Wish we had wild elk here in Texas it sounds great. We got a high fence place about 10 miles from my home and for $1500.00 you can go kill a spoon fed 350 class bull. I hear all you got to do is rattle afeed sack and take your pick. One of the prominant shows did an episode down here and made it look so hard. heck they aint got but a couple of hundred acres. Why not just shoot a beef cow out of my own pasture it would be more challenging. Good luck to you and yours God bless

Hey don't worry, the schooling will pay off! I do know what you mean though, as I was recently in your shoes...lol. Good luck when you get your turn. I sure wish I had an opportunity for elk.
