NEED good QUIET and WARM Outfit..
I need suggestions on a new bowhunting outfit.. Mine is shot..
It needs to be quiet like fleece, yet warm. I've been looking at cabelas stuff, but you never know what its like until you get it in the mail, then you find out its not as quiet as you thought..
I can't stand when you are wearing something and you move, and the inside makes noise..
I need suggs guys..
Please help..

For early season I am a big fan of Cabelas Microtex garments. They are soft, quiet and colorfast. Quite durable as well. I believe they are completely synthetic thus the high colorfastness.
If you are looking for warm then they come in an insulated version as well. 100 grams of Thinsulate if I remember correctly.
Later in the season I prefer the Cabelas Revolution Fleece garments. They are everything the Microtex garments are plus waterproof as they use Cabelas Dry Plus membrane. There is a soft "swoosh" sound which is barely audible when moving. I can guarantee you that the deer will not hear it.
Both are great garments. I would highly recommend either.

Last year I bought a Whitewater 3D fleece Pullover jacket, and pants. That is the warmest, quietest clothing I have ever put on! It makes you want to fall asleep all the time because it is so confortable. It is absolutely silent.
If you do alot of stand hunting, I would recomend it for sure! If you do alot of walking, and drives, and push through thorns or brush, I would not recomend it because the fleece will get wrecked eventually.

The Revolution fleece garments have a low nap so they do not pick up burrs and stickers easily. Even if they do the stickers are easy to remove with a simple brush of the hand.

Day One and Raven Wear have excellant fleece clothing and both can be purchased with and without lining.Quiet is key for me and I am very comfortable using either one of these companies fleece products.LIke yourself I would much prefer to buy something in person versus internet or mail order for sizing and for testing for quietness.
