Default Splitting arrows?

So I get a brand new Hoyt UltraTec bow the other day and pick up my new carbon arrows. All excited, I set up the target behind the garage and start tuning it up. On about the fifth shot, I don't hear the normal "thwack" sound. More like a tree branch cracking and think to myself, "now that just didn't sound right." Sure enough, I split the other arrow right down the middle. $20 worth of arrows down the drain. I've learned a valuable lesson on where I aim. How many of you have had this happen?

You just got a "Robin Hood" They don't happen every time out but since you are shooting a Hoyt now it will happen a lot! LOL! Just kidding!

Nice shooting. Great to be grouping tight but hard on the wallet.
