With that being said, you still have to have balls of steel to drop the string on a mature buck. It's definitely not all dumb luck.
For some reason when I picture Tiffany Lakowsky out of her hunting gear[:-]she doesn't have balls of steel
LOL................

But I got to say this is hillarious to me ...... after "all" of those posts about other people having great land.........and how crappy your land always was ..........that when you finally get a descent place to hunt youkill a couple of young bucksand then step back and call it "too easy" !!LMAO

Wow .....that one has made me smile for the day.....thanks Atlas !!

But I'll admit that more challenging, when you score, is always more fun.........but I'll takeeasyif it comes my way !!

I'll have to share in the laughs with you CBM. Land that is too easy to hunt. Hmmm, I guess I'venever hunted or heard of such a place. If it is that easy to shoot deer on that land, you may need to step up your standards a notch or two and go after something on it that's a little harder to kill. Mature deer maybe? lol

When you are used to not even seeing deer for days at a time and then you go to a place that has numerous deer trotting and offering more shot opportunities then you have tags for on a daily basis............What would you call that?? It doesn't take a whole lot of thinking to realize one is easier then the other.

Not interested..........and not looking for more of a challenge........read the thread before posting and you would know this already Just being honest about what I see as "easy".

When you watch the shows on TV with 40 deer and 25 huge bucks in the same food plot and see whoever is in the heated shed take a bruiser.......do you see that as a difficult or "hard" hunt that would give extra satisfaction to the hunter??........or do you roll your eyes at how "easy" it was to drop a monster simply by taking your pick of the litter??

Atlas- I think I know how you feel. There is something a bit more gratifying after accomplishing something which is perceived as difficult.

The bad news is that you've messed the whole place up. Calling a spot "easy" is like saying the words "no hitter" during the ball game. You just don't say it even if you are thinking it. Anyway, aftera couple of years of not taking even a skipper off that farm you will finally have a very gratifying experience which will break the curse.

Sorry

Within the realm of bowhunting there are usually options in terms of the degree of challenge. If an individual wants to increase the challenge, that is his choice. It is also his choice if he chooses to hunt in a situation where the challenge may be less than what someone else may incur.

Bowhunting is a challenge enough within itself. Limited range, limited kill zone, dealing with a deer's defensive system, etc. If conditions happen to present an increased opportunity for success, I accept it as a blessing and I hunt.

No . A meat hunter like me would drool over the place you described , besides once you limit out you would have plenty of time to hunt other things or enjoy other pursuits . If it's too easy for you then find somewhere harder to hunt .

Ditto. Why wouldn't you hunt where the deer hang out? Isn't that the point of scouting? Hunters pass up great climbing trees all of the time because the trails aren't used enough. I happen to scout neighborhoods because that's where deer hang out and I can gain easy access.
