Default broadheads and field points

Hullo all:

Some-time lurker and novice bowhunter (I shoot a Browning Cobra I picked up for sixty bucks in a gun store...like I said, I'm a novice). Anyway, I got me a question: I picked up a five pack of 100-gr broadheads at Wal Mart the other day. Haven't got a chance to try them yet, but I'm wondering if they'll shoot to the same spot as my field points, or will I have to re-sight the bow again? Also, what's the best way to practise with broadheads? I don't want to rip up my target, but I don't want to mess up the broadheads either. I take it any old haybale should work?

Thanks a lot.

A the P, if your bow is tuned properly, the broadheads will impact with your field tips.

If you shoot Mechanicle broadheads they should shoot in the same place. Fixed broad heads will fly different than field point. You will need to sight your b0w to the Fixed Broadheads.

Depend's on the broadheads ,mechanical's usually fly pretty reasonable to your fieldpoint's ,and there are some fixed that do as well .
