Did you find anything else out yet? If you haven't called at this point then a picture of specific description of the bow and its components would be helpful.

How old of a bow are we talking? My dad and I each had Browning Safari bows from the mid 80's with the wood limbs......beautiful bows, shot good, until the limbs snapped and scared the living you know what out of us. Browning did replace the limbs on each bow, mine lasted about 2 years longer than dads. After we got them fixed, they were sold ...that being said, I do like the looks of the new Browning bows. Good luck.
