this isnt baiting to anyone?
it's feeding until you go out to it with a weapon with the intention of taking one. Than it's baiting. If its legal and floats your boat go for it.. we can feed all year round, we cannot hunt any closer than 200 yards to our feeding station.
I don't see any differance from corn on the ground than a food plot , same ole, same ole. trying to draw deer out of cover so you can see them, for whatever reason.

Becareful with the pellets you are using, know what is in them. Pellets are known to have caused CWD, they have said.

You don't have to mix it with anything. Corn is corn...the deer are a coming. I built an electric feeder with a galvanized gargage can and a motor. I keep it filled all year. When I go in for archery I usually dump a bucket of apples out also each time I go in.

This year I have started feeding a corn and roasted soy bean mixture. The soy bean takes the protein content to 16% and lets off a great aroma. As for you guys adding molasses, that is a bad idea. The molasses sticks to the teeth and cause serious damage. I have been told by other people using this mixture that it really draws more deer in than plain corn. Also, the protein content will help during the offseason as well.

well.. technically i have to pull my feeders today. have to have them out 30 days before season starts. I use corn. I put it in a pvc feeder that i made. Each feeder holds about 20 - 25 lbs of corn. If i have any left i dump it on the ground in a circle.

I took 50 pounds of apples in and 50 pounds of corn in last tuesday and last thursday i went back in and all but 6 apples were gone!.. PIGS!

Surprised nobodys mentioned this...if the area is open we use a spreader on the back of a 4-wheeler to spread corn esp. fields..
In the woods a grass seeder with the zipper bag will hold about 20 lbs
just walk through and spread....
