Anyone else have a hard time leaving your Game Camera alone? I want to check it constantly but, I know I cant![:@]

How long do you usually wait to check your camera?

Its always different, but your right it sure is hard to wait! Sometimes I wait a week, sometimes 2 days, it depends if it is near the ATV trail, or back in the woods.

DId you hear about the New Cellular-Scout? It would be the sweetest camera ever! It has a cell-phone that emails you the picture every time it takes one! I would be in heaven!

Check it out: http://www.pennswoods.com/CS-05b_CS-05c.html

$600 without the cell phone!

Wow, that would be the way to do it. You think I spend alot of time online now.
Wait til I get one of those.
I usually leave my 35mm out for a week or more, it is set up on trails.
My digital is set up on my feeding area and I check that every Thurs and Sun.

I was just wondering the other day when someone would invent that cellular scout type camera, where you could access it from your home computer or phone. I'm always a day too late.[:@]

Another benefit of that technology would be possibly getting pictures sent to you of the guy that just stole your camera. In a small community I would think that your chances of getting the camera back would be pretty good. Someone would know who the guy was.

THere is also a new game camera system, that all the pics are relayed to a main "receiver" that can be up to 5 miles away from the cameras. THe "receiver" holds the Memory cards, and so the idea is that you set that up somewhere easily accessable, and you can check that each day without messing around in the woods.

1 camera and the receiver is $1200 I think, so it ain't cheap...but is sure looks cool!

I can't remember the website, but I saw it advertised in D & DH recently.

I used to check it daily, until gas went up. Now it is rather easy to leave it alone knowing that it will cost you $5 to go check it.

Put me into that group though I have now learned to resist the urge for at least a week. I believe you do more harm than good otherwise.
