do you sit all day? or hunt til a certain time, and leave and then come back?

i hunt until about 1030 in the morning, then leave and eat lunch and take a nap. then come back about 330 for the afternoon hunt.


no way i can sit all day in the stands i have. i cant seem to find a stand that is comfortable enough for an all day sit. if anyone knows of a stand that is comfortable enough to sit all day. please let me know!!

I'll sit until noon or so, go get some lunch, then I'll go back out until the legal end time is.

I use to hunt from start to 10 then come back around 2 till close. Now i stay out all day and last year that payed off. a big ten point always came by my stand in the afternoon and he did that for 5 days till i had him in a spot where i could take a shot. So now i stay out all day.

it all depends on the weather and temp for me, if its hot out i'd leave and then comeback

During full moon, I sit all day. Bring a lunch. Always more afternoon activity during that moon phase. Doesn't matter how hot or cold it is.

Most other times, sit til noon, then come back after lunch and sit til dark.

I always say I'm going to sit all day, but I always start 2nd guessing myself and move around.

It all depends. I was planning an all day sit today, but with the wind blowing the cold air on me, I couldnt make it. So I am warming up now then heading back out for the afternoon hunt.
