Default doe permits

is it fairly easy to get a doe permit in the bradford county area in pennsylvania? obviously you have to send it in on time, but i was also wondering being a non-resident would there still be enough with us having to send in later? thanks for any info, very much appreciated cant wait to go and see some deer and hopefully some rackers by the sounds of things

big ten,

My experience is to send it out a few days before they accept apps for non-res. Try to time it so it gets there on the day of. If it gets there early any after will get piled on top. I hunt 2F and have not had a problem. Good luck this year, my wife is expecting so this year is out of the question.

I know that there typically are two WMUs that run out of tags after the first round...2G and 2F I think...not sure if Bradford is in either or both. As suggested, get the tags mailed a couple days before they are due to have the best shot at being one of the first to get your tags. I know alot of residents mailed their 1st round doe apps. either yesterday or today so that it would be in Harrisburg come Monday morning.

I live and hunt in bradford county, depending on what side of Rt.6 you are on you will be either 3B or 3C.
i hunt 3C and i know this year they have less doe permits this year than last. Nonresident have to be sent in on Aug.15th. Im sure there will still be some available. just make sure you get it in on time.
