Just curious to see how much everyone elses permits are. I hear ours are pretty expensive. Just want to check and see how they compare.

Here in Nebraska
Deer $28 Non resident deer $178
Turkey $24 Non resident turkey $86

I live in Texas and go up to Oklahoma to hunt deer. My combination buck & doe non-resident permit is $254 last I checked. I hunt for free in Oklahoma; in Texas I would have to lease some ground for about $1,500 or more. I'll just go up to Oklahoma at those prices.

Those are bargain basement prices compared to Illinois NR stuff. I still cant deal with being expected to pay $400 to hunt my own land since i am no longer a resident of the state I was raised in.

Washington state: the most populus, smallest of the Western states...
Deer: $39.42
Elk: $39.42
Bear + Cougar Combo: $21.90
Deer + Elk Combo: $61.31
Deer + Elk + Bear + Cougar: $72.27
Turkey $15.33 (Non res: $43.80)
With the exception of Turkey noted above, all non-res tags are 10 times the resident rate... as if someone from out of state would choose WA for a hunting destination (see line 1 above).

These are GA prices:

Big Game (deer, turkey, bear) $9.00 $135.00
Hunting (regular)$10.00$75.00
Hunting (1-day) $5.50 $12.00
Hunting (3-day)$30.00
Big Game (3-day)$50.00
Primitive Weapons $8.00$25.00
Wildlife Management Area (WMA) $19.00 $73.00

Comparison:

In GA,if aNon-resident,one could hunt with Archery and Muzzleloader for the whole season for $235.

In IL, it will cost me $400 for Archery, $265 for Muzzleloader, and 56.25 for Habitat stamp and Hunting License, for a grand total of $721.25.

So y'all come on to GA, it's much cheaper here!
