Default Super String Leech

I recently put Super String Leeches on my bow and twice now I have had them pop off while I am shooting my bow. Has anyone else had this problem??

Haven't tried them yet myself but several customers are using them. How are you attaching them to the string? Are you serving them in?

No I was just putting them between the strings. I thought the tension of thestrings held them in.

If I remember from the original leeches I believe they suggest you serve them in especially if you have less than 20 twists in the string or you are shooting at speeds over 270 fps. Just do some over and under knots...about three times...on each side of where you have leech positioned. You won't have the problem again.

I would put some serving on them. I just had a new string/cables put on my bow and the pro shop but leeches on the string and served them, top and bottom. Looks really secure that way!

haven't tried the leeches myself, i use bowjack string silencers on my bow (4) there is no more "twangggg". super quiet plus they use small zip ties to attach, and half the price (about $5.00 per 2) seems quite effective at the moment, here is a pic.(not very good angle)
