I wish I had found out about it much sooner!
Gee Rob/PA and myself have been talking about ASAT on this forum for years

I'll not "go back" to the mainstream camo as long as ASAT is around—it's that good.
Yep thats what Rob and I have been saying

I have been using ASAT now for years not only here in the USA but also back home in Australia andNew Zealand and it just works no matter what season or terrain you are in from snowy mountains to the lush green rain forests to the desert.

Another plus is the ASAT design you see now is the same as it was when it was first introduced.

My hunting buddy Kyleis color blind and when he first seen my 3d suit he said "get me 2 of those one for me and the other for my wife"

The other camo looks good in the store but all Kyle see's is a big black blob just like the deer do.

We even put him to the test 3 of us went out into the woods 1 in Realtree,1 in Mossy Oak and me in the ASAT, Kyle found the other 2 easily but I had to walk out of the woods after 2 hours grinning from ear to ear knowing that he had come within 10 feet of me and had no clue I was there.

For what it's worth, Scheel's here in Omaha has started to carry the ASAT line. They are selling it at the same prices as the web site and also as the dealers are, so I will probably still go that route, unless if I need something right away.

The reason I'm posting this is because of an interesting story about a Sheel's salesman that saw me looking at the ASAT stuff this past weekend and came over to "sell me on it". Before I continue, I'm also on the ASAT web site, under the ASAT Stories link, Brad Young. So I have had some success with ASAT as well. Anyway, this salesman comes over and starts telling me how great ASAT is and how he has used it for years, especially the leafy 3D suit. I ask him, "Really? How long have you been using it?" He says, "Oh, probably 7-8 years now." I am pretty sure that the 3D leafy suit has not been produced for that long, but I say nothing, just nod my head.

Now that's not really the funny part, though. You see, this guyhas a very unique look, with very red hair and a pronounced forehead,so I know it was the same guy that I asked about ASAT last year when I was in there duringarchery season, wondering if they were ever going to carry it. He looked at me like I was smoking weed, and asked, "What's ASAT?" I tried explaining it to him, but he just said, "No, we don't carry anything like that. I've never even heard of it before."

So in the course of a year he went from having never heard of it to having worn the 3D suit for 7-8 years. I left without buying anything, but with a big smile on my face.

Like other have said this camo is truely amazing. I will never wear any other camo pattern. It is incredible how well it blends in. As far as the scent lok goes. I believe it is close to coming out. For now I just wear the liner suit under the leafy suit and it works great.

I Bought anASAT leafy suit also this year. The only prob I have is it's to bigI figured that I better get a bigger size than I normally wear and it was definately pretty big.I always find that things long enough, but this suit definatly isOne thing too I noticed when I killed a couple hogs this summer is ,it isn't as quiet is most of my fleece cammo, but then again what isIt was really nice wearing down in Florida for the hog hunt cause the breezes really kept me cool in the suit.It is an excellent suit.I'll post a link of my bud with his hog and his ASAT,his isn't leafy but really looks outstanding.I'm in one of the pics and not wearing the ASAT top only cause we just got back from tracking my second hog I was soakeds.Heres the link guys enjoy http://www.realtree.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=619&ppuser=&catp=

I don't have the ASAT camo but I do have another brand of the 3-D leafy camo. I was excited to see how it would work in the field. I was working an open field the first day wearing it. In the middle of the field were some rocks with small brush. I was stalking some deer and had worked my way over to the rocks/brush. The first set of deer walked up to about 20 yards from me but it was a small doe and yearling. My legs started to go numb from crouching behind the short brush so I decided to stand-up and put the camo to the real test. A group of about 8 deer entered the field at the west end and another group of 10 deer entered the field straight north from me. They would look at me and either go back to eating or they would look and walk towards me to see what I was. I couldn't believe it. Not a single deer was spooked. To top it off the wind was hitting me in the back and I was standing in the open, nothing but the brush around my knees. I had one large doe start walking to me when a coyote entered the field and ran every deer off. I too am sold on the 3-D leafy camo system.
