I was wondering about the use of under armour for hunting. I am looking at the heatgear. Does anyone have experience using this in warm to hot conditions? Does it actually cool your body? What about scent free? I do not know how this really works, I was just thinking. I thought this material wicked sweat off of the body and causes it to evaporate faster from the surface of the shirt. This almost seems like it would be worse for warm weather hunting. Your body uses sweat to lower the body temperature. This is done by using heat from your body to turn the sweatfrom a liquid to a vapor on your skin's surface. If the sweat is not evaporated on the skin's surface the heat will not be removed from the body. Also, if the sweat is wicked to the surface for quick evaporation, is it putting more sweat vapor into the air for the animal to smell? OR is it that the sweat is evaporated from the surface of the shirt causing it to lose heat and inturn basically creating a cold blanket around the body. This would decrease the amount of sweat and the amount of scent in the air. The stuff is expensive, so I wanted input before I bought some. What did it do for you? Did it make you warmer or cooler? Did you sweat more, less, or the same? Would you recommend it? Which did you use, tight fit or loose fit? I was considering the tight leggings under shorts for hot weather. What do you think?

There is another thread on one of the forums. Though I haven't used it myself I have several buddies that do and they all say it is quite comfortable and useful in cold weather.
