Default draw-loc, bo-buddy....

have anyone seen a bo-buddy, i was just watching oln...and a guy is talking about a bo-buddy. it is a stablelizer for your bow, not like we normaly use, it bends and goes to the ground! it can be used with a tri-pod, or a monopod! wow what is bowhunting coming, i could maybe see a handicap hunter using it...but that would be it!

Haven't seen that one yet but I don't get to watch the outdoor channel much anymore. Between that, the draw lock and some other fancy contraptions now hitting the market I wonder if anybody still has the desire to draw a bow and hold it steady using their strength anymore?

For once I am with dm...tech. should have some limitations.

I saw that joke of a contraption on TV. I hope he doesn't plan on retiring on that contraption's income.

Here is the link to the Bo Buddy. http://www.trophyquestoutdoors.com/Bo_Buddy.htm

While NOT our norm for bowhunting.....remember, at one timea SCOPE was viewed as a sceptical object to put on your gun.

Similar to a bipod used for long shots with a firearm, it could be handy.
I seriously doubt it will catch on, but only due to the fact that it isn't that difficult to get within bow range of most game.More time spent scouting will put you within range of an animal and is more important.....*FLINCH!*......IMO.....than shooting practice.

Might be fun to PLAY with though!

"Double your range , double your confidence ."

That statement alone makes me hope the product tanks , it's bound to convince lazy shooters that they can dot a fly's eye with it at 70+ yards . Can you just imagine the number of slobs who'll take that "Hail Mary" shot and end up wounding deer after deer ?

hey, its all about getting smaller groups further out, right ?

at one time, mechanical releases were frowned on, mechanical broadheads, > 65% letoff, solo cams, short ATA bows ........... you name it, at one time it was likely deemed unacceptable to archery tackle and ethics.

Now everyone pretty much has it on their bow. Funny huh ?

True, though many might now argue that both a short axle to axle length bow and the single cam design did nothing to decrease group size.
