I just ordered 1 dozen Easton C2 shafts and had them fletched at my pro shop and the vanes wouln't stick. Has anyone else had a problem getting vanes to stick to this shaft. we preped them with Bohning blue clear and3 days before I shot the arrows andyou could pull the vanes off with your fingers. I used Marco vanes but I'm not sure what glue they used. Any suggestions.

It has been awhile since I checked out Easton's full lineup. Are they manufacturing carbons dubbed the C2s now? I know that they were using the C2 manufacturing process to make many of their, and Bemans, ICS style carbons but was unaware they had a particular model called the C2.
We fletch a variety of Easton carbons down at the shop and we have never had a problem with pulling off fletchings.

Try using steel wool, or an extremely fine grit sandpaper, and lightly rub the area where the fletching is going to be. This will scuff the surface just enough for the glue to stick. Also, clean the fletch and the arrow surface well before fletching.
